Justice through excellence and experience

You are the only one(s) giving me hope.
— Ms X (Pro Bono Client) 2020

The members of Wyeth Thomas Chambers know the maxim ‘Justice denied anywhere diminishes justice everywhere’ to be true.

We seek – through our professional lives and the manner in which we undertake our work – to strive for just and appropriate outcomes for all those we represent irrespective of their perceived standing.

We have members who in addition to being fully qualified Barristers and Solicitors are Chair of Regulatory bodies, Recorders (part-time Judges), Arbitrators and Mediators, Visiting Professors of Law, Directors and Non-Executive Directors of Companies and Foster Carers with local authorities.

Most of the members of chambers are registered public access lawyers who can be directly instructed by members of the public and professional clients alike.

Our members of chambers have appeared in all the senior courts of this jurisdiction both criminal and civil and including the Supreme Court. Our members frequently appear in international commercial arbitrations, in the International Criminal Court (The Hague), lecture American Law students (with ABA accreditation) and post-graduate UK students and share links with the legal communities on many continents. Through our network of associations with other chambers we have members active in all parts of England and Wales.

We are a chambers with a social conscience and are committed to diversity and social justice. This commitment is not a vague ‘tick-list’ acknowledgement on our part; it is real and tangible. An example of WTC’s commitment is our partnership with the charity ‘Future Stars’ and its work in Ghana and Togo.

We invite you to find out more about the work we do and the partners we work with.
